:: System Requirements

InQuest can be run on any of the following supported platforms:

For Windows Installations:

• Windows versions XP Pro, 2003, Vista
• A Java 2 JRE or SDK version 1.5 or higher. An appropriate JRE is included in the installation package, and can optionally be installed as part of the InQuest installation process.

For Unix and Linux Installations:

• AIX 5.2, 5.3; Sun Solaris (SPARC) 9, 10; HP-UX 11i; SuSE 10.2; Red Hat EL 4.5, 5.0.
• A 32-bit Java 2 JRE or SDK, version 1.4 or higher.
• An X-emulator that supports Java Swing.

WebSphere MQ: (previously known as MQSeries)

On any machine where you wish to run InQuest, you must have an installation
of IBM WebSphere MQ 5.3 or 6.0.

Java:

A Java 2 JRE (run-time) or SDK (run-time and development kit, including compiler), version 1.5 or higher, is required on every system where InQuest will run.

Note: On Windows systems an appropriate JRE can be installed as part of the InQuest installation process.
