Since Domino directories are the most important databases within your Lotus Notes infrastructure, it is imperative that their integrity is maintained without error. Any possible mishap or error within a directory document could prevent your servers from working properly and initiate potentially damaging security issues.

Directory Attender™ is a platform independent Lotus Notes utility that gives administrators the ability to manage data within their Domino directories. This management is automatically carried out by Directory Attender's enforcement of restrictions that are created by the Lotus Notes administrator. These restrictions manage directories in one of three ways: access control lists, contents and documents.

Directory Attender not only helps you define and manage your directories, but it also identifies and helps prevent future problems from occurring. In addition, Directory Attender provides reports for explicit and implicit group membership.
