System Reports Type I

XpoLog contains an advanced report engine. You can set any filter rule to be executed on the logs. The following report snapshot is presenting an aggregation report of the priority levels in a log. The report generation can be automated and an email created to summarize the system status.

Log Viewer

This is the log viewer screen of XpoLog Manager. Every log that you define in XpoLog will be presented like this, logs from any data source (DB, remote machines), logs in any format (XML, XLS, TXT and more), and no matter which protocol you use to access the files (FTP,HTTP,SSH) - they will all be defined under XpoLog tree. In the upper part of the screen you can see the control panel - use it to customize your log to view only the columns you want and define filters and searches on your log.

Merged Logs

Once logs are defined in XpoLog you can add 'virtual' logs that we call merged logs. This means that you can create any correlation between any logs that you have defined and view them as one log. In the following example you can see 2 logs combined into 1 view. One color represents the 'Client' log and the other represents the 'Server' log. This way you can investigate several files as one file in order to analyze what was wrong in your process and save time.

System Reports Type II

XpoLog contains an advanced report engine. You can set any filter rule to be executed on the logs. The following report snapshot is a dynamic aggregation report of each unique message in a given log column. The report generation can be automated and an email created to summarize the system status.

Filter Rules

XpoLog has a sophisticated filtering mechanism. You can add filters to find particular strings, you can filter logs according to time boundaries that you set. You can define standard expressions to be executed in order to filter the log and much more. After you define a filter, which can contain multiple criteria, you can define a multi filter that is a combination of other filters. In the following example you can see a filter on priority "ERROR" and the number "30", only records that apply to these 2 conditions were passed by the filter.

Verifier

Be the first to know what is happening in your systems! After you define filters and multi filters on your logs you can add verifiers to XpoLog. A verifier is based on filters that you have defined on your logs and other verifiers that have been set. Once a verifier is being executed - you will get a report telling you whether the combination of your rules on your logs failed or succeeded. On such an event XpoLog can fire alerts to let you know what is wrong, this mechanism can be automated as well by creating Schedulers. For more information please visit our support center.

"Most enterprises will likely face this same inflection point shortly and, out of necessity, will develop more robust systems or processes for monitoring and managing the log files they are generating. “
